Our 8th grade career development students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Be Pro, Be Proud truck yesterday. The experience taught our students about some of the many opportunities that exist in the world of skilled trades.
Be Pro, Be Proud aims to expose students to the realm of skilled trades, so they can explore a variety of opportunities for life after graduation. Technical skills are always needed in the work force, and Be Pro, Be Proud can help you get connected to them!
The truck contains simulators for students to experiment with areas such as Welding, Linemen, Train Engineer, Robotics, Heavy Equipment Operations, and more! They will learn about job opportunities, pay, as well as job requirements for the trades.
