Licensed by the Arkansas Department of Education in the following areas:
I am an active member of the Arkansas School Counselor Association and have attended several events through this association. I have also attended regional and national professional development events sponsored by National Science Foundation, National Council for Teachers of Mathematics, Southern Regional Educational Board, and The Solution Tree. Additionally, I have trained educators in eSchool+ student management software, basic website development, and Interwrite instructional technology.
I have five nephews (Preston, Michael, Corbin, Mason, Karson), three nieces (Carmen, Kelsie, Grayce), one great nephew (Skylar), and a little red dachshund (Miss Jill).
Preston is a 2011 graduate of Malvern High School and a 2016 graduate of Henderson State University.
Michael graduated from Dawson High School (Pearland, TX) in 2014 and is currently attending San Jacinto Community College.
Corbin completed high school in 2015, and Carmen is currently a high school student in Texas.
Kelsie, Karson, Mason, and Grayce are elementary school students in Louisiana.
Miss Jill keeps me company at home.
I am an avid road trip traveler, having conquered most of the highways across the United States and southern Canada. My favorite place to visit is the Pacific Coast where I have made three full road trips along the Pacific Coast Highway between San Diego and Seattle. I also enjoy visiting Arizona and Utah.
When I am not traveling, I love to bowl, play video games, attend concerts and theatre performances, and visit zoos, aquariums, and museums.
