Enrollment Procedures

When enrolling a student at Malvern High School, please bring the following items:

  • birth certificate
  • social security card
  • proof of residence in the Malvern School District (utility bill, rent receipt, etc.)

 

Students who are 18 years of age or older may enroll without a parent.  Students under the age of 18 must enroll with a parent or legal guardian.  If a parent or guardian is unavilable to bring the student to enroll, a signed letter granting permission to enroll must be sent with the student.

The enrollment process begins in the main office.  Office staff will provide the parent or guardian with an enrollment form to complete.  The student will then meet briefly with an administrator, who will escort the student to the guidance office to complete the enrollment process.

Students at Malvern High School are classified as follows:

  • Freshman:  first year high school student
  • Sophomore:  second year high school student
  • Junior:  third year high school student
  • Senior:  fourth year high school student with at least 16 credits
